Don Hanson, a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) and Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) will discuss electronic shock collars and why they are a dangerous and an inhumane choice for training, managing, or containing a dog. He will review the scientific, peer-reviewed literature on shock as well as recommendations from veterinary behavioral experts on humane and effective alternatives to electric shock.  The seminar is free.
